London Cab Special Vehicles for Sale

At London Cab Company, we service our own weddings and personal tours in Sydney, so none of our fleet are for sale. However, we can build a unique cab for you to your own specifications.

We know from experience how hard it is complete one of these cabs. The dream of owning your own London Cab in Australia can eventually wear you down until it becomes something you (and your wife!) wish you hadn’t started.

The pity is that all you really wanted was to get out there and start working with your cab. My first project cab took 3 years and cost me more than it’s finished value. There is no substitute for our experience, so keep your dream alive by letting us do the hard work for you, and saving you money and possibly even your marriage!

We at LCSV ’s workshop will do the hard work for you. You are welcome to come and view our cabs to see the standard you can expect. We know all the little gremlins these cabs can have in Australia and have all the solutions in place with full back up for parts from London which can be here in under a week. We can restore the bodywork, repaint her, fit air conditioning both inside the cab and modify the engine bay to take the compressor. We can install a new leather interior, a new head cloth and timber trim. We can even wire up an intercom or fit a turbo to add torque as we have done with our cab, "Christine". And we will not overlook the benefits of a powerful sound system. In fact anything your heart desires can be achieved in our workshop. And then we will get it all passed by a Certified Engineer to comply with Roadworthy documentation.

Anyone who wants to do this themselves can buy a cab from us that has just been imported. They aren’t expensive to import but that is just the beginning. So let us help you or in 3 years time when you are getting it finished for your first wedding you may wish you had.

We can build it to your specifications and advise on what works and what doesn’t. You are of course welcome to review specifications and change things as we go. We are based in Sydney so that should save you a trip around the world. We also have a workshop in the UK for anyone requiring a project in the Northern hemisphere.

When you buy a Cab from us we can also advertise your cab on this website and the area that you are in, and pass on bookings for an admin fee so you don’t even have to advertise. We currently have 50 wedding bookings going out over the next year and have worked with Pepsi, Virgin, Mars, Beef Eater Gin, Logie drop offs, Media and Film Agencies and other industry promotions.

This is typical of what we start with. Looks good until you see what the decals are hiding.

Getting back to basics and cut out all rust and replace panels for new or fibre glass replacement panels. If your cab never gets to look like this it will never get to look like "Gypsy" near the bottom of this page.

Weld up any holes. Beware - these cabs were hand made and some of the seams have been done using lead.
